I honestly didn’t think I could fall in love with any country more than Italy. Huh, I haven’t yet. But the south of France fascinated me, with its incredibly beautiful old towns, lavender fields, olive groves and castles. And perhaps the coast of France – the Cote d’Azur and Provence, managed to fall in love with me irrevocably. And what could be better than to live amongst all this splendor, in the most beautiful hotels in France!

The French Riviera is a special place. It was my first experience living in the south of France, and I was delighted by the beauty we saw. From the pastel tones of Saint-Tropez to the blooming mimosa in Grasse, the vibrant life of Nice, and the colorful town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. On every corner, there is something of its own, something new, something unique. Incredibly relaxed people, delightful seafood, and simply incredible shopping! But my favorite part? The architecture. And one of the landmarks located in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, an incredible pink villa from the early 1900s. Long before we even planned where we would stay, this place was on my must-visit list. A giant pink palace surrounded by sea gardens!

Two of them, separated by a strait, are in Europe, but if you cross the Bosporus you get to Asia, to the district of Uskudar. Actually most of the hotels are on the European side. And here, leafing through the endless list of options on Booking, it is difficult to make up your mind and find something truly unique… That’s why I created this list.

A few years ago, when I was still living in Gomel, I used to make chia seed pudding. And it was disgusting. Really, it was nothing. The chia seeds were from Iherb, good ones, but the milk was regular cow’s milk. I don’t know what it was: maybe it was the proportions, or maybe it was the milk… But after that time I did not want to cook chia seeds anymore. And in France, when I saw the bio seeds, I decided to try again.
