A stunning hotel in Provence, Le Couvent Des Minimes Hotel & Spa L’Occitane.

Couvent des Minimes Hotel & L’Occitane Spa reopened in 2023, transformed and revitalized, offering much that is new and beautiful. The newly reimagined Couvent des Minimes Hotel embodies fresh ideals: simplicity, elegance, harmony, relaxation, and refined pleasures. Fabien and Valérie Piacentino, the masters of the house, along with their team, have crafted a true art of hospitality, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere, much like a welcoming Provençal family home, for special moments. At the same time, the soul of the old convent has been carefully preserved. This incredibly aesthetic hotel stands out, setting itself apart from 90% of hotels in France!

The hotel features two restaurants: Le Feuillée, which has been awarded a Michelin star, and the bistro Pamparigouste

I highly recommend visiting both. For example, you might stop by the bistro for lunch. The simplicity and authenticity of the decor, the warm welcome, the naturally lit dining room adorned in soft, gentle tones, and the semi-open terrace with views of olive trees and cypresses make this a very comfortable and enjoyable place. From Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), you can try the lunch menu (menu du déjeuner) for €38, which includes a starter, main course, and dessert.

Le Feuillée* restaurant, designed with warm, elegant tones and fine materials, is a true embodiment of Provençal living. The dining room, with its refined and sophisticated ambiance, and the terrace under the plane tree invite you on an original culinary journey. In March 2024, Le Feuillée* was awarded one Michelin star. For lunch, the Origines et Influences menu, featuring five courses, is priced at €145 per person. For dinner, there is also a five-course set menu as well as the seven-course Origines et Influences menu, priced at €180 per person.

The Spa L’Occitane at Couvent des Minimes, seamlessly integrated into the historic part of the hotel, offers a world of serenity and authentic Provençal luxury. Going beyond the traditional concept of a spa, it has evolved into a holistic wellness center—a true retreat for those staying at or visiting the hotel who seek to rejuvenate and reconnect with themselves. The spa also offers yoga, naturopathy consultations and workshops, as well as personalized coaching sessions tailored to individual goals. For example, a full-day spa experience (420 minutes) is priced at €110, afternoon access on weekdays (180 minutes) is €65, and a 30-minute massage is €180. Other options are also available.

A delightful hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere. By the way, Jessica Alba was here recently (check out her post), but unfortunately, we didn’t cross paths.

Here’s a great post featuring other hotels in the South of France! Also, stay tuned for my upcoming Provence guide—it’s going to be fantastic!
